0:00 Our values are high performance, so we make it clear to not just employees, but

0:08 anyone

0:09 applying for a job that this isn't meant to be like a cushy chill job, like

0:15 this is for

0:16 people that want to stretch and to do in one year what maybe another company

0:22 would expect

0:23 you to do in 10 years. So we keep a very, very high performance bar and that

0:30 filters into how

0:32 we compensate. We reward people disproportionately based on impact and we try

0:38 to stay away from

0:39 rewarding people on conventional things, you think about a typical company,

0:43 people are paid

0:45 generally proportional to the org size that they manage. And if you think about

0:52 what that

0:52 incentivizes, then incentivizes empire building. I want to have a big org with

0:56 a big team because

0:57 then according to our metrics, I'm more important. But really what we want to

1:03 incentivize the

1:05 opposite. Can you have a lot of impact with the smallest possible team? So high

1:10 performance is

1:11 one of them. Safety always, we have a safety always value, which means sure we

1:15 're going to move fast,

1:17 you know, sure, we're holding ourselves to an absolute performance bar. But you

1:22 can't use that

1:24 as an excuse to cut corners or compromise on the security of customers and

1:30 their money. So it's a

1:32 very important one. You know, regulatory compliance is very, very important to

1:35 our business as a

1:37 trusted financial platform. So we have that one, lean and discipline, another

1:42 one. I always ask

1:44 How can we do more with less?
